In the article, "Should Everyone Get a Trophy?" by Lauren Tarshis, she talked about how kids get a trophy just for showing up to team practices. Our school system decided more than a decade ago to pass kids on to the next grade regardless of how successful they were on their report card. Do you think kids should fail?

Kids should be held so the kids can have better grades and their parents will be happy.Also when the kids head off to high school they will be smart and get a good education and from that good education can get you a good job that you want to work for.Also from that good education would get you good money from your good job.
A good education would get you a good job.For example if some else wanted that job and they have a better education than you they will get the job.Then when you don’t get the job you don’t have no job and no money and you would have to go work at a job were they don’t give you that much money.
Also the kids should be held back so they need to know that life is not easy it is hard.The kids need to know that life is not easy it builds character for the children that know nothing about high school.That is why they need to be prepared for high school so they dont suck.
The teachers sometimes say that children should stay back one year because of the work that they did not do well on and did not learn befor.I agree with that because if they don't learn it in grade seven they won't know what to do in grade eight.Also they would have to learn it again and they would be behind.
When the teachers tell the kids parents that they should stay back the kids would probably say “thats no fair”.Then the parents would probably say “yeah Why not”.when the parents say that it is kind of getting your child smarter and they will be ready for high school.Then when the parents say no because they don't want their child with a classroom with younger kids with them.
